ICS SILVER SPIRIT

* We have received reports that general cargo ship ICS SILVER SPIRIT experienced an engine failure off Albany Port, Australia on 10 February 2023.

* The vessel is reported to have experienced serious engine issues and reduced speed after anchoring to undertake engine maintenance.

* The vessel subsequently moved to Albany Port under its own power for inspection and repairs after The Australian Maritime Safety Authority instructed Albany Port Authority to accept the vessel.

* It is possible that General Average issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
