BISCAY

* We have received reports that chemical/products tanker, BISCAY, experienced an engine failure, in a position north of Ushant Island, France, on 15 February 2023.

* It is reported that the vessel was later taken under tow towards Brest, France for inspection and repairs. It is currently at anchor at Douarnenez Bay, France.

* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
