EVER OATH

* We have received reports that Containership, EVER OATH, experienced an engine failure while approaching Vung Tau, Vietnam on 17 September 2023.

* According to reports, the vessel is currently under tow by tug towards Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Port to unload the imported cargo on board.

* Cargo not destined for Vietnam will be transhipped to destination whilst EVER OATH undertakes repairs it is reported.

* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
