Report	We have received reports that general cargo vessel, MSC EAGLE F, experienced an engine failure and later ran aground whilst approaching the Kilindini channel, Mombasa on 9 October 2023. According to reports, the vessel was successfully refloated with the assistance of port tugs on 12 October 2023 and taken under tow to Mombasa Port, where the vessel remains for inspection. It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
