* We have received reports that general cargo vessel, FRIEDRICH, experienced a rudder issue approximately 134.5 nautical miles off Brest, France on 14 October 2023.

* According to reports, the vessel is currently under tow by tug to Cuxhaven, Germany, where the vessel will discharge the cargo and undergo repairs.

* It is possible that General Average, Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
