SUOU

* We have received reports that Ro-Ro cargo ship SUOU struck a submerged rock breaching its hull near Matsuyama, Japan on 21 November 2023.

* The vessel is reported to have suffered water ingress as a result and has developed a significant list to starboard. The crew were later evacuated.

* The vessel was subsequently taken under tow by tug to anchor off Yashiro Island, Japan.

* It is possible that GA/Salvage and Recovery issues may arise as a result of this incident.
