VAMOS

* We have received reports that general cargo ship VAMOS went adrift during cargo operations at Inebolu port, Turkey and subsequently ran aground west of the port on 27 November 2023.

* It is reported that the vessel's mooring ropes broke during a storm whilst the vessel was discharging cargo at the port before the vessel went adrift.

* The vessel is currently reported to remain stationary in the position of the grounding.

* It is possible that General Average, Salvage and Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
