We have received the following further information concerning containership, ONE ORPHEUS.

*The ship operators, ONE Line, report that the vessel requires additional urgent repairs as a result of the casualty.

* The vessel is now scheduled to proceed to Piraeus, Greece, with an ETA of 20 December 2023, where the cargo will be discharged for further transshipment to destination ports to allow the vessel to proceed to dry dock to enable repairs to be effected.

*If General Average is declared, General Average security may be required from all Cargo Interests prior to the delivery of their cargo and we are likely to be able to assist in that regard.

*We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.

*In the meantime, we recommend that cargo interests contact their freight-forwarder or their local ONE Line office for further information as to the on-carriage of their cargo to final destination.

*There are currently no reports of General Average having been declared by shipowners but we are continuing to monitor the situation and will report further should we be advised of a declaration of GA and any requirement for cargo interests to provide GA security as a consequence of this casualty.

*It is also possible that any temperature or time sensitive cargo may be adversely affected by the delay.
