AURORA

* We have received reports that container vessel, AURORA experienced an engine failure whilst in a position north west of Brest, France on 11 December 2023.

* It is reported the vessel has been taken under tow by tug to Brest, France, where it currently remains for inspection and, possibly, repairs.

* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
