MARLIN LUANDA

* We have received reports that Oil tanker, MARLIN LUANDA (IMO: 9829899), was struck by a missile said to be launched by Houthi rebels in a position approximately 60 nautical miles southeast of Aden, Yemen on 26 January 2024.

* It is reported that a fire was ignited in one cargo hold as a consequence of the missile strike. The fire is reported to have been brought under control by the crew and later extinguished.

* The vessel is now reported to have diverted towards a place of safety for inspection, and possibly, repairs.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
