MBC DAISY

* We have received reports that MBC DAISY (IMO: 9609902) experienced a machinery failure in a position approximately 12 nautical miles southwest of Cape Espichel, Portugal on 23 February 2024.

* It is reported that the vessel was taken under tow by tug to Sines, where it currently remains for inspection and possibly repairs.

* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
