UAL BODEWES

* We have received reports that the general cargo vessel UAL BODEWES (IMO: 9542336) experienced an engine failure, in a position approximately 24 nautical miles east-northeast of Boulby, UK, on 22 February 2024.

* According to reports, the vessel was taken under tow by tug to Teesport, UK, for repairs and later resumed its voyage towards Las Palmas, Spain.

* It is possible that General Average, Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
