------------------GENERAL AVERAGE SECURITY REQUIRED-------------------

8 April 2025

* Further to our earlier casualty report concerning damage to container ship ETE N, we have received reports that all cargo stowed on board the vessel has been discharged at Haifa to enable repairs to be effected to the vessel in dry dock.

* It is reported that shipowners have declared General Average as a result of the incident. General Average security will therefore be required from all Cargo Interests prior to onward carriage of cargo to destination ports and we are likely to be able to assist in that regard.

* We have already been instructed by certain Cargo Insurers and we may be able to offer certain economies of scale in respect of any third party costs which may need to be incurred in relation to any investigation of the circumstances of the incident.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.

------------------ORIGINAL-----------------

* We have received reports that containership ETE N (IMO:9509126), experienced an engine failure and subsequently allided with the breakwater at Haifa, Israel, on 01 April 2025.

* It is reported that the vessel sustained damage to its propeller as a consequence of the allision.

* The vessel was later taken under tow by tug towards Piraeus, Greece, where the convoy is expected to arrive on 12 April 2025, for inspection, and possibly repairs.

* It is possible that General Average may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
