Skyfall

* It has been reported that the MV SKYFALL ran aground off Vinh Tan in the Binh Thuan province, Vietnam on 5 August 2020.

* At the time of the incident the vessel was proceeding from Indonesia with 59,500 tonnes of coal on board.

* Efforts will be made to re-float the vessel although it is not yet clear what level of salvage assistance will be required or the terms of that salvage assistance.

* It is possible that salvage security will be required to be provided in respect of the cargo on board and W K Webster may be able to assist in the provision of such security as necessary.

* It is also possible that General Average and recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
